Major League Baseball has released its 2021 schedule

Though the schedule for this summer’s 60-game dash was just released, Major League Baseball has decided to double-down and put out the calendar for what they expect the 2021 season to look like.

This is kind of a weird thing to look at and talk about because, I mean, we really have no idea if the season is going to operate as planned or if fans will be able to watch games in person or not. It makes sense that MLB is planning for a normal season even despite the fact COVID-19 is still a thing and it isn’t going away any time soon, it’s just difficult to look at it and make any kind of plans.

Opening Day is scheduled for April 1, giving us plenty of opportunity for April Fool’s jokes.
