David Roddy is the most Raptors-like prospect in the 2022 Draft

The Toronto Raptors are kicking their NBA Draft plans into high gear, as they could still draft a player that becomes a consistent bench contributor. If handled correctly, the Raptors might be able to turn reigning Mountain West Player of the Year David Roddy into a long-term piece. While it took Roddy until his third season […]

Leafs assign Gogolev and Král to the Marlies

The Leafs’ plans continue to become clearer as we pass the midway point of the preseason. They have shifted to using what most presume to be their opening night forward lines and defensive pairs and have begun to trim their training camp roster. The team announced on Monday that they have assigned winger Pavel Gogolev and defenseman Filip Kral to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, marking their latest round of cuts. The team is expected to announce a larger group of cuts following Tuesday’s preseason matchup against Montreal.

He is expected to be an offensive contributor for the Marlies once again this season as he continues to refine his game and work towards pushing for NHL minutes.

Toronto Raptors draft: 4 prospects who could fix rebounding issues

The Toronto Raptors draft plans will likely include drafting at least one big man with one of their three selections, as the addition of Khem Birch didn’t do enough to erase the fact that Toronto was one of the worst teams in the league when it came to rebounding the basketball consistently. While the Raptors […]

Potential Raptors draft target at No. 7 could slip due to frame concerns

If that is the creed that will be drilled into the scouting department, drafting former Stanford stud Ziaire Williams might make a ton of sense. Early mock draft roundups […]

Toronto Raptors draft: 5 best international prospects to look at

The Toronto Raptors draft plans are much more interesting this season. With multiple second-round picks, taking a swing on high-upside players is a useful tactic. Overseas players often boast the kind of skills and unique quirks that turn out insane talents, like Nikola Jokic and Marc Gasol, but they also pose a greater risk of […]

Toronto Raptors draft: Kofi Cockburn could fit in Toronto after declaring

The Toronto Raptors draft plans will likely include drafting a big man at some point, as signing Khem Birch and Freddie Gillespie, despite how effective they have been, in no way solves the cavernous hole that remains in this roster. If Masai Ujiri wants to add through the draft, look for him to target Illinois […]
