Toronto Raptors: 3 most valuable NBA Top Shot Highlights in history

I won’t pretend to fully understand the emergence of NFT’s (Non-Fungible Tokens) as a form of cryptocurrency, except to say that it has created a booming industry that the NBA Top Shot online marketplace is reaping the rewards of. Who knew there was such demand for owning Toronto Raptors social media posts and YouTube videos? […]

Darren Dreger reporting the Leafs still in talks with Pietrangelo

Let’s pretend the salary cap doesn’t exist for a moment and enjoy how this could potentially play out…

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Vegas Golden Knights have spoken to Pietrangelo. Interesting to see who else steps forward.
— Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) October 9, 2020

While there is a lot of talk about the Leafs being in serious trade negotiations with Florida regarding MacKenzie Weegar, they haven’t lost sight of the big fish free agent, Alex Pietrangelo.
RUMOUR: Leafs interested in MacKenzie Weegar

We’ve talked a lot about Pietrangelo on this site over the past few weeks, but if you are interested in reading up on Pietrangelo, Scott Maxwell has a breakdown on how he’d fit in with the Leafs…
How does Alex Pietrangelo statistically fit with the Leafs?

Additionally we might be hearing from Dubas soon, and that will probaby let us know that nothing is imminent for the Leafs and Simmonds in the big haul for Day One.

Dubas avail at 3:30. Indication, but nothing written in stone, #Leafs are done for the day.

Of course a lot of things can change quickly, and we’ll see how this plays out.

Maple Leafs Pregame #30: 5 Things to watch for as the Leafs try to hit CTRL+Z

Anyone else want to pretend that last night didn’t happen? Cool. Never did. The Leafs lost a hard fought goaltending battle and that’s the way I choose to remember it, as that is what it was when I went to go pick my wife up some Klondike Bars at Sobeys.
Tonight might not be a fun one either. Michael Hutchinson is in net and that’s the opposite of fun. Kadri is back. We love Kadri, but I kinda wish we were doing a bit better when running into an ex, especially one we wouldn’t mind getting back together with.

From the team’s official release:
Kivihalme, 23, spent the 2018-19 season with Karpat of Finland’s Liiga. In 60 games during the 2018-19 season, Kivihalme recorded nine goals and 21 assists for 30 points, which ranked ninth among Liiga defencemen in scoring. From our own Nick DeSouza:

Teemu Kivihalme is a 23-year-old LD from Finland. He also has done a “salt bae” celebration after scoring an OT winner.
That’s good enough for me. pic. …
