#Leafs forward Auston Matthews will attend the upcoming NHL All-Star Weekend but will not be actively participating in any on-ice events. Matthews is listed as day-to-day as he receives acute treatment for an ongoing wrist condition.

TSN’s Darren Dreger reported that Matthew’s agent, Judd Moldaver, said Auston has been dealing with a wrist issue for “at least three weeks.”
“Collectively the Leafs and all involved decided he needs the rest,” Dreger wrote in a tweet. “He’s more than happy to represent in St Louis in any off ice capacity.”
Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, meanwhile, reported that Matthews is expected to be ready to play when Toronto resumes action Monday in Nashville.
“He spent the bye week at home, training in Scottsdale, when the decision was made to keep him off the ice this weekend,” Friedman tweeted.
